Breaker rolls break oversized seeds or seed clusters into smaller particles using counter-rotating rolls, handling a job the seed cracker isn't built for: material too large or too fibrous to go straight into a standard cracker's tighter roll gap. Sunflower seed and cottonseed in particular often arrive with clusters that would jam or unevenly load a cracker.
Three roll surface options cover different feedstocks: smooth surfaces for gentle size reduction without excess fines, corrugated surfaces for more aggressive shearing of uniform oversized seed, and toothed surfaces for fibrous or clustered material that needs to be gripped and torn rather than crushed. An adjustable roll gap gives precise control of output particle size for whichever surface is fitted.
Rated for 50-500 TPD lines with hardened roll surfaces for continuous duty. Downstream, the Seed Cracker takes the consistent feed produced here. If your feedstock arrives consistently sized, a cracker alone may be enough — we'll advise before you commit to redundant equipment.
Lines from 50 to 500 TPD, with an adjustable roll gap to control output particle size.
Smooth for gentle size reduction with minimal fines, corrugated for uniform oversized seed, and toothed for fibrous or clustered material. Specify the surface against a sample of your actual feedstock — batch variation within the same crop can be significant.
